ABOUT US
In recent years we have often traveled to Andalusia. Not just for a holiday. But also because we were looking for a B&B. One thing we knew for sure; it had to be Spain.
The friendly people, the beautiful nature, the rich culture and the delicious food had already captured our hearts on previous vacations.
During one of our searches we arrived in a white mountain village called Vélez-Blanco. There we found a modernly renovated Cortijo in the nearby Nature Park. This became our dream place. We found silence, peace. With the bonus of more than 300 sunny days per year!
We will be open to guests again from May 2021.

FACILITIES
Breakfast
Every day we use fresh, local products. You can enjoy your meal at your own outside table, in your appartment or somewhere in the garden.
Garden
There is a private terras, and around the house there are several different nice places where you can sit and enjoy the view of the valley and the mountains.
Pool
Here you can cool off .
There are nice loungers with mattress, beach towels and accompanying parasols.
Free WIFI
During your stay you can use WiFi for free. We also offer Videoland / Netflix.
Wellness
Do you need a massage after a day of sports? Then you can book a relaxation massage given to you by a certified masseur.
Honesty bar
Here you can treat your self to, for example, a cup of coffee/ cappucino/espresso, a snack or a delicious smoothie.

Hiking and mountain biking
Because B&B Cortijo Blanco is situated in the National Park you can start right away from the house. There are routes for beginners en advanced sporters.
Aquatics
There are several sailing and surfing schools on the coast. You can rent boats there, dive or sail along on a fishing boat.
Golf
There are several golf courses in the area. Such as the Lorca Golf Course or de 18–holes golfcourseValle del Este in Vera.
Yoga
Do you want to start your day with yoga or meditation? In the orchard, by the pool, on top of a mountain, ... Yoga mats and meditation cushions are available.
Beautiful villages and towns
Vélez-Blanco and Vélez-Rubio, Maria, Chirivel, Lorca, Cartagena, Murcia, Águilas, Almería, Granada (the Alhambra).
Filmstudios
Many famous westerns have been recorded in the desert-like setting of Tabernas. The film location can be visited. Shows, museums, pool, zoo.
